Language Models

Today I’m actually sort of struggling. I’m having a hard time making some adjustments at work and in my personal life so I thought it would be nice to make something that can help me and other people.

For my benefit, I don’t want to learn so much code at the moment. I think it’s cool working with logic based systems like that but I more or less just want to make something quick and simple that I can utilize and review. The last time I did generative coding it was to jump start my imagination and use some things I had drawn to create a basis for my thesis project at the time. In all I “pressed” R and a randomized generator made some landscapes for me to start from.

and that ended up in some things like this

or this (there was a more complex version but I lost that with a shit ton of data last year.)

and that was a lot of fun. But these generative models have come a long way, it took me weeks to come up with a functioning code. Now I figure I may as well try to use the devil that everyone talks about and see what a super complex “if/then” machine could come up with.

So I challenged it to write a plugin that I could use here to help generate some group therapy exercises utilizing reflective listening, cbt, and objective based goal making for NON clinicians. So I’m not a nurse, therapist, or doctor of any kind. However I do believe in the therapeutic benefits of art making.

Not sure how it’s going to go but that’s what I’m starting this week.
